You need to prepare and file an Indiana income tax return, for those few
days you were resident, to let them know you moved out of state (a part-year
return does that), and to claim any refund on taxes withheld.

Default Indiana income tax

I moved from Indiana to New Jersey in early 2008. I did not have any
income during the 10+ days in Indiana. Do I have to pay Indiana State
income tax?

I updated my address in my employer's database a little late. It
caused my address on my first two paychecks was in Indiana and Indiana
did withhold my income tax. My W-2 does not show any Indiana income
but it shows some Indiana income tax withholding. Am I supposed to
get the withholding back in full?
