Form 8825 is where you report rental real estate activity for either a
partnership or an S Corporation. Why would you be using this form? Are you
filing a corporate or partnership return?

If you are filing a corporate or partnership return and you can't answer
this questions you in way over your head and I would strongly urge you to
get professional help.

Assuming everything else is kosher, HOA fees are usually deductible on the
rental scheduled.

Default Form 8825 and HOA Fees

All:

This is my first time filling out Form 8825 for a rental condo that I own.
Anyway, my question is: Can you subtract out the HOA fees on this form or
any form for that matter? Seems like it would be an expense.

Thanks,

JJ
