| Hi, I moved from Dallas to San Diego to change jobs. My new company gave me accomodation, airfare and moved my things. However, they have put some of these expenses on my W-2 as income & I now have to pay tax on it. Can I claim a tax credit for expenses related to relocation due to jobs? If yes, how much can I claim? Thanks, Arvind -- << ------------------------------------------------------- > << The foregoing was not intended or written to be used, > << nor can it used, for the purpose of avoiding penalties > << that may be imposed upon the taxpayer. > << > << The Charter and the Guidelines for submitting posts > << to this newsgroup as well as our anti-spamming policy > << are at www.asktax.org. > << Copyright (2007) - All rights reserved. > << ------------------------------------------------------- > |
