See IRS Publication 521. You'll report your deductible expenses on Form
3903 attached to your 1040.

Default relocation expenses

Hi,

I moved from Dallas to San Diego to change jobs. My new company gave
me accomodation, airfare and moved my things. However, they have put
some of these expenses on my W-2 as income & I now have to pay tax on
it.

Can I claim a tax credit for expenses related to relocation due to
jobs? If yes, how much can I claim?

Thanks,
Arvind
