First Congress passed the Energy Improvement and Extension Act of
2008 in October. That required the form to be put on hold. Then
we they had a draft, Congress just passed the American Recovery
and Reinvestment Act of 2009. Again.. the draft has to be revised.

That's just two bills I am aware of. There may have been others
that affected the 3468.

Do you know what kind of legislation? Why would the IRS take a form
mailed in, but not accept it if it were electronically filed. Our
return is about 30 pages - wjy would our government do such a thing?

The IRS has announced that Form 3468, Investment Credit, is not
available for electronic filing until further notice due to
recent tax legislation.

Default Electronic Filing via Turbotax

Each of the last several years, I have used Turbotax to prepare my
taxes and have filed electronically. This year when I try to file, I
get a message that I am unable to file electronically due to Form
3468, Investment Tax Credit being included. The past 2 years I have
had that form included and had no problems electronically filing.

Anyone have any experience with this? Why would I be able to file in
the past but not be able to file now?
