My instinct says that the MRD can't be converted, but anything that is converted avoids future MRDs, so it should still be done.... | I thought I saw information that for this year a required distribution from an IRA can be converted into a Roth IRA. I understand that previously any rollover to a Roth did not count towards the required distribution. Is this true?
