Do you perhaps mean a Roth 401(k)? It is a little different.

I've thought an employer plan can set a lower value or
skip the catch up.

If you file MFS or your AGI is too high to open a Roth IRA
not through your empoloyer, this is the way to contribute to a
Roth IRA.


What is the maximum annual contribution amount allowed in this plan?
