Do you happen to know of any transaction-tracking (or comprehensive> your tax software. *That would be something more along the line of > accounting/bookkeeping software, not tax software. They're all pretty much the same.> that can easily handle various stock & option transactions? Return preparation for these transactions is easy if you have good records, so I'm wondering, especially if you're an active trader, whether what you're really looking for is something that will easily keep your books and feed your tax software. That would be something more along the line of accounting/bookkeeping software, not tax software. If it's truly just return prep, pick the cheapest one. -- Phil Marti Clarksburg, MD -- << ------------------------------------------------------- > << The foregoing was not intended or written to be used, > << nor can it used, for the purpose of avoiding penalties > << that may be imposed upon the taxpayer. > << > << The Charter and the Guidelines for submitting posts > << to this newsgroup as well as our anti-spamming policy > << are at www.asktax.org. > << Copyright (2007) - All rights reserved. > << ------------------------------------------------------- > |
