The default answer to all your questions is to mail it to the address you file your return to. They're all available at the IRS website. Eventually it'll all work itself out. | What is the address to mail a check to pay off your installment agreement quickly? The installment agreement is set up with direct deposit, say $100 a month. If you want to send a check for $500, how to do this? Should one use the address from 1040-V or form 9465 or something else? Also, could one pay via EFTPS? If so, what should be the payment type and tax period? And if you're not in an installment agreement, and filed a tax return but no money with the extension, but have come into money now and want to mail a check, what is the address? -- << ------------------------------------------------------- > << The foregoing was not intended or written to be used, > << nor can it used, for the purpose of avoiding penalties > << that may be imposed upon the taxpayer. > << > << The Charter and the Guidelines for submitting posts > << to this newsgroup as well as our anti-spamming policy > << are at www.asktax.org. > << Copyright (2007) - All rights reserved. > << ------------------------------------------------------- > |
