Sounds like personal use, so not deductible. Why were the items in
storage not with you in your current house? If you were storing
supplies related to renting the house, such as paint and hardware
which would be used to fix up the house, then yes it would be
deductible.

I rent my house out for a year. I put my stuff in storage. Can I
deduct the monthly storage fees?
