Yes, assuming she was a full-time student Jan-May and under age 24 as of
12/31/2007. Otherwise, it depends on her 2007 income.

See IRS Publication 501.

Default Clarify College Student Dependency

Hi,

Our daughter graduated from college in May, 2007. She
lived with us through September when she got a job. Can
we claim her as a dependent as a full time student if we
still provided the majority of her support in 2007?

Thanks,
Gary
