How is the LLC taxed? Schedule C, Form 1120S, etc? Contact the vendors or browse their web pages for comparison listings. More expensive versions have better tools and support. The software is the least of your problems if the return is inaccurate and you under or over pay as a result. Plus, the portion of the expense due to business return preparation is generally deductible for the business. For the first year in business, you are *strongly* advised to consult a professional. -Mark Bole -- << ------------------------------------------------------- > << The foregoing was not intended or written to be used, > << nor can it used, for the purpose of avoiding penalties > << that may be imposed upon the taxpayer. > << > << The Charter and the Guidelines for submitting posts > << to this newsgroup as well as our anti-spamming policy > << are at www.asktax.org. > << Copyright (2007) - All rights reserved. > << ------------------------------------------------------- > |

I understand that this type of business would just be our "normal" return plus a few schedules/forms but it seems that TaxCut and TurboTax has several more expencive options for this situation. -- << ------------------------------------------------------- > << The foregoing was not intended or written to be used, > << nor can it used, for the purpose of avoiding penalties > << that may be imposed upon the taxpayer. > << > << The Charter and the Guidelines for submitting posts > << to this newsgroup as well as our anti-spamming policy > << are at www.asktax.org. > << Copyright (2007) - All rights reserved. > << ------------------------------------------------------- > |
