No need to amend.

Default Corrected 1099 and Amended Return Question

Hi:

We sent off out tax forms a month ago, and just received an amended
1099 Div from our investment company. The effect of the amended return
is to change the Qualified Dividends by $8.15. When I put the change
into TurboTax, it comes up with the same taxable amount as the one we
originally submitted. In other words the change is so small it does
not impact the return at all.

My question is: if there is no change in the taxable amount as the
result of the Revised 1099, do we have to submit an amended return?
