| I regretably had to cash in my 401k early. I live in Pennsylvania. I have paid the IRS the 20% plus 10% penalty. I will also have to pay state taxes of 0.0307%. Will I also have to pay my local (city) taxes on the full amount? Thank you, Thomas. -- << ------------------------------------------------------- > << The foregoing was not intended or written to be used, > << nor can it used, for the purpose of avoiding penalties > << that may be imposed upon the taxpayer. > << > << The Charter and the Guidelines for submitting posts > << to this newsgroup as well as our anti-spamming policy > << are at www.asktax.org. > << Copyright (2007) - All rights reserved. > << ------------------------------------------------------- > |
