| I contributed $2470 excess to my Roth IRA in 2006 . So I just withdrew that amount and finished filling out my 2006 form 5329. According to my calculations I basically owe ( 10 + 6 ) % of 2470 in penalties. The instructions say to file the form by itself and enclose a check. But I can't figure out where to mail it to. I tried these two links: http://www.irs.gov/file/article/0,,id=111170,00.html http://www.irs.gov/instructions/i5329/ch01.html#d0e113 -- << ------------------------------------------------------- > << The foregoing was not intended or written to be used, > << nor can it used, for the purpose of avoiding penalties > << that may be imposed upon the taxpayer. > << > << The Charter and the Guidelines for submitting posts > << to this newsgroup as well as our anti-spamming policy > << are at www.asktax.org. > << Copyright (2007) - All rights reserved. > << ------------------------------------------------------- > |
