Nan's memorial service is at the home of her daughter,
Alice, on August 11 from 11:00 to 2:00 PDT. Please think
about her at this time.

The service will be a celebration of Nan's life and the
family has asked for memories and stories to be shared.

family.

Some of you may remember Nan Sarkisian, in earlier days a
frequent poster to the newsgroup. She was an Enrolled Agent
with a practice out in Corvina, CA. Since the group she
worked with specialized in teachers' tax returns, I remember
she was quite knowledgeable about 403b and esp teachers'
retirement plans in California.

Her daughter's email Friday came as a shock of course. She
said:

"I have the sad duty to let you know of the passing of my
mother, Nanette Sarkisian. She passed away in the early
hours of Sunday, July 8 of renal cancer. Please do forgive
me for not notifying you earlier.

While she had been getting more ill over this last year, we
were not aware of the seriousness until almost the end.
Myself and my siblings were with her throughout the night
and into the morning until her passing.

A wake/memorial is being planned for the first or second
Saturday in August. An e-mail will be sent once we know the
details.

Nan hadn't posted much in the past year of course, and she
will be missed.
