I wouldn't be surprised, though, if the apparent doubling up resulted in some correspondence with the FTB. | I was employed for the first half of the year, and self-employed for the second half of the year. Apparently I qualify for both the California child and dependent care credit taken on form 3506, and the employer child care contribution credit taken on form 3501. Can I , in fact, take both credits, or does taking one prohibit taking the other? I would use Jan-Jun expenses on the 3506, and Jul-Dec expenses on the 3501. Thank you for any and all advice. << ================================================== ===== > << The foregoing was not intended or written to be used, > << nor can it used, for the purpose of avoiding penalties > << that may be imposed upon the taxpayer. > << > << The Charter and the Guidelines for submitting posts > << to this newsgroup as well as our anti-spamming policy > << are at www.asktax.org. > << Copyright (2006) - All rights reserved. > << ================================================== ===== > |
