Too many! The last couple of years they filled the Qwest
center which has a capacity of around 18,000, and had to put
extras into an overflow room via telecast, which was another
3,000. And that was for the annual meeting itself. The
other events are typically large draws also. Come only if
you enjoy crowds.

He has "B" shares. He collected coins since he was six and
I gave him some old silver dollars my grandfather had given
me. At age 11 I gave im five shares of McDonalds and five
shares of Disney, but he wasn't interested in them.

Then a couple of years later he was flipping through the
business section of the paper and noticed his stock had
increased in value about four times since it was purchased,
but his coins had gone up much less during that same time.
So he sold his coins and not only had enough for one B-H "B"
share but enough for a second one, though he diversified
with the rest.

Maybe we'll see you if we make it. How many people usually
show up?

Yeah, but I wanted to keep it on topic. ;-)

Dividends are put on Schedule B. Capital gains or losses
(when you sell the shares) are put on Schedule D.

I go every year, but it's easy for me as I live in Omaha.

And, as I'm sure you know, Berkshire does not pay dividends. ;-)

Default Berkshire Hathaway

Is anyone here going to the Berkshire Hathaway annual
meeting? My son (a shareholder and now 24) has wanted to go
there for the last ten years, and we may finally get there
this year.

Their dividends are put on Schedule D, right? ;-)
