| We recently moved and I would love to deduct my moving expenses, but I'm not sure I qualify. I telecommute (live in Texas, work for an office in California) and my wife works from home (salesperson). We don't really have a working location out here in Texas, aside from our home. Her "base" is about 5 hours south of where we live, mine of course is about 22 hours west. Any thoughts on if we might qualify for this deduction? Thanks. << ================================================== ===== > << The foregoing was not intended or written to be used, > << nor can it used, for the purpose of avoiding penalties > << that may be imposed upon the taxpayer. > << > << The Charter and the Guidelines for submitting posts > << to this newsgroup as well as our anti-spamming policy > << are at www.asktax.org. > << Copyright (2006) - All rights reserved. > << ================================================== ===== > |
