| I worked in only Delaware in 2006. I bought a house in New Jersey in 2006. My wife and I got married Dec 2006. My wife worked in NJ for 2006. I had no NJ tax withheld since I told no one I moved to NJ until Jan1 2007 My questions is: I was thinking about filing a joint federal return, but for the state returns, I would file in Delaware separately and she would file in NJ separately. What is the easiest way to do this or should I do something else? Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!! << ================================================== ===== > << The foregoing was not intended or written to be used, > << nor can it used, for the purpose of avoiding penalties > << that may be imposed upon the taxpayer. > << > << The Charter and the Guidelines for submitting posts > << to this newsgroup as well as our anti-spamming policy > << are at www.asktax.org. > << Copyright (2006) - All rights reserved. > << ================================================== ===== > |
