(Though I dont trust the security of online preparation.) << ================================================== ===== > << The foregoing was not intended or written to be used, > << nor can it used, for the purpose of avoiding penalties > << that may be imposed upon the taxpayer. > << > << The Charter and the Guidelines for submitting posts > << to this newsgroup as well as our anti-spamming policy > << are at www.asktax.org. > << Copyright (2006) - All rights reserved. > << ================================================== ===== > |

| At least as far as TaxCut is concerned, it looks like the cheapest is $29.95 (but, without e-filing). Cheapest package with e-filing included is $59.95. Looks like the prices have really increased. I tried out the free TaxAct last year as a backup program (didn't e-file with it). Gave me the same answers as TaxCut. Has anybody had any issues with it, especially the e-file? << ================================================== ===== > << The foregoing was not intended or written to be used, > << nor can it used, for the purpose of avoiding penalties > << that may be imposed upon the taxpayer. > << > << The Charter and the Guidelines for submitting posts > << to this newsgroup as well as our anti-spamming policy > << are at www.asktax.org. > << Copyright (2006) - All rights reserved. > << ================================================== ===== > |
