| I am an individual with some accounting training (very, very rusty) who has been doing my taxes all my long lfe. I currently have some vision problems, but can function quite well(except for typing). For many years I used a program called AM TAx in the individual version, which was a DOS program that put the tax form up on the screen and you filled it in, using work sheets provided by the program. When this was taken over they discouraged us amateurs by raising the price from $54 to $300!. I then turned to turboTax and have been unhappily, using it for several years. My returns will be a bit more complicated this year and I , also will have to do a return for my daughter, who lives in israel and will be getting some income from an inheritance trust. I wonder if any of you out there in tax-preparer land would have any suggestions for a Mac program I might use. I also need NYState and city coverage. Any help you can provide would be appreciated.
