Oregon defines a resident as a person who is domiciled in
Oregon, or who maintains a permanent place of abode and
spends more than 200 days of the taxable year in the state.
Or. Rev. Stat. =A7 316.027(1)(a). You willl not be taxed as
a resident as long as you do not go over the 200 days in a
year.

However, you will be subject to Oregon tax on any Oregon
source income. That would include income from Oregon
property (e.g., the rental or sale of your Oregon home), and
any income from personal services you performed while you
were in Oregon (e.g., telecommuting from your Oregon home).

It all depends on domicile & residency. Each state is
different.

Not unless you earned income from that state, as in taking a
part-time job or self-employment. And, if you rented out
the home while you were away, you will owe tax to that state
even if you never went there.

Yes, if you sell or rent the property during the year.

Only if you earn money while you are in Oregon.

If I buy a vacation home in Oregon and live there three
months a year, do I owe state income tax to Oregon?
