| Name change ..California C corp ...Pls help. We incorporated an intenet company in California early this year with a certain name thinking that we would get the same domain name.. However, we cannot get the domain name, so we now have a slightly different name now. How do we go about changing our Corporate name with the state of California ? What forms to be filled ? Is this simple ? How soon will the transfer occur ? Also will we need a new tax ID number ? Because we will have to change our Bank account name too and check books. can any one pls help us ... what we should do ? and how to do it ? Finally is it better to start all over again with the new name and let the old company die ? I am totally ignorant about these issues.
