| You have no checkbook? Call the bank for a copy of your checks for 2005. Didn't you make a note on the envelope of the 1040 ES they sent you?, or ,let alone, the sheet they supplied to record your payments? Hey, this is not rocket science, just THINK. If all else fails the IRS wil tell you, but why would you need them? ed << ================================================== ===== > << The foregoing is intended for educational purposes only > << and does NOT constitute legal OR professional advice. > << > << The Charter and the Guidelines for submitting > << messages to this newsgroup are at www.asktax.org. > << Copyright (2006) - All rights reserved. > << ================================================== ===== > |

| I've been making est. tax payments for 21 years. Through a combination of accidents, I don't have a record of my est. tax payments for 2005. Can the IRS tell me how much I paid for 2005? Is there a number to call? I have eftps and will be checking that tomorrow, but I'm wondering if one can simply call IRS and ask? Thanks. << ================================================== ===== > << The foregoing is intended for educational purposes only > << and does NOT constitute legal OR professional advice. > << > << The Charter and the Guidelines for submitting > << messages to this newsgroup are at www.asktax.org. > << Copyright (2006) - All rights reserved. > << ================================================== ===== > |
