Start with the IRS site and the instructions for Schedule C.
Some other publications will be mentioned including Pub 17.
If those are too big to download, call the IRS's toll free
line and they'll mail you any pub or form you want.

Default Independent Contractor: Deductions?

I worked as a independent contractor for part of last year
and would like to claim tax deductions and expenses that I
had during a three month period. I am looking for an
internet resource that lists possible deductions that a
1099, self-employed contractor can claim.

Regards,
Keith
