You just might want to hire competent local tax help at
least this one year.

Yes, what you sold consisted of three items: land,
building and personal property, and as such, are reported
separately.

Default Sale of Rental Property - Property Classes

I sold a residential rental property. While I owned it, I
purchased some appliances and made some improvements (new
carpeting) which were depreciated. Everything was sold with
the home. Can I claim everything as a 1250 property or are
some of the things 1245 property, etc.?

What can I claim as 1250 vs. others?

If I have to split up between different property classes,
how do I figure out the gain/loss considering these were
sold with the home and not sold individually?
