| It's tax season here in Canada and I have a few questions. I arrived in Canada in May 2005 and continue to contract with my previous employer out of Singapore. My income is paid from Singapore as well. I do go back to Singapore to carry out some of this work as well. I would consider myself resident of both countries. Now with the tax treaty in place between both countries, I know I have to declare world income in Canada, but do I pay Canadian taxes or Singapore taxes. Anyone has any ideas?
