Do nothing until/unless they ask you about it. Probably
their return classifier never noticed.

Default Wrong dates on a Corp Tax Return

On the State Corp tax return, it requires a beginning and
ending dates for the filing period. As I am preparing to do
the 2005 State tax return, I just notice that on the *2004*
return, I had erroneously put 1/1/2005 to 12/31/2005 for the
filing period -- it should have been 1/1/2004 and
12/31/2004. The Form I used was for year 2004, and it was
signed/mailed in 3/2004.

Do I need to amend the 2004 State return?

TIA
