| I filed an offer in compromise about a month ago and just got a request from the IRS for more information. One of the things they want is a brief statement regarding my health and education. Does anyone have any idea why they're asking this? Also, when I filed my offer in compromise I included the court-ordered child support that I required to pay in my monthly expenses. However, I fell behind a little last year and will have to make up the back child support that I owe over the next couple of years. I will be filing an amended OIC shortly. Should I include the back child support that I will be paying over the next couple of years in my revised monthly expenses? Thanks, Neil << ================================================== ===== > << The foregoing is intended for educational purposes only > << and does NOT constitute legal OR professional advice. > << > << The Charter and the Guidelines for submitting > << messages to this newsgroup are at www.asktax.org. > << Copyright (2006) - All rights reserved. > << ================================================== ===== > |
