The only other way would be if you are one of the relatively
small number of people who are eligible for the Health
Coverage Tax Credit. Take a look at the requirements at the
following link.

Default deducting COBRA premiums ?

I quit my job halfway through 2005 and continued my
health-insurance using COBRA, contributing about $2200 in
premiums. I did not earn any self-employment income at all.
Is there any way for me to deduct these COBRA premiums,
other than on Schedule A and so subject to the 7.5% AGI
exclusion?

Thanks, John
