Paper and pencil, abacus, calculator, or fingers and toes.

Your Federal return shows everything for the year.

The last I heard TX doesn't have an income tax. You'll file
as a part-year NJ resident.

Possibly. See IRS Publication 521.

This sort of leaped in from nowhere, but if someone paid you
interest you report the interest income on line 8 of the
1040.

Default Tax Questions

I moved from TX to NJ on Feb 2nd 2005. I have some basic
questions

I got two W2's from my employer

How can I add both the W2's for my federal return? Do i need
to do it twice?

And for state - do i need to do for TX and NJ seperately?

And also, can I get some deductions for Moving from TX to
NJ, as it was job related?

Also, I received a postal email from IRS stating that I will
get some interest for the overpaid tax it was about $120.00.
Where should I add this?

I am planning to use TaxAct.com to do the filing.

Appreciate, if someone could help me

Thanks in advance
