Thank you all. This information really helped. I did not
know 1099-INT would only show one SSN. Reported it as joint.
Waiting for my refund :-)

If it's a joint account, the interest is joint income.

They will only show the SSN of the first named on the
account. Report it as a joint account.

Default 1099-INT - Joint account

I received 1099-INT from my bank, the reciepent box has just
my SSN although it is a joint account. I do a joint filing
with my wife, she does not work. She has only ITIN no SSN.

Now my question is how do I report this when I file tax ?
If I select "joint" (while reporting 1099-INT) I save about
$20 in State (federal no difference)
