Default Kentucky (Non-Profit) Corporation Income Tax

I am the treasurer of a condo association, which appears to
be in the same bucket as neighborhood or homeowner
associations. These are new condos and there are only 12
units. The Federal Form (1120-H) is a breeze.

My question is about Kentucky Form 720. I am gold by
Kentucky Revenue that this is the form I need to complete.
The association makes no income (the association fees pay
the common utility bills and that is it). It seems that
there is a new law this year that forces all Kentucky
Corporations, no matter if there is an income or not) to pay
a minimum of $175. I was a little upset... this is a good
chunk of change for a small association.

Has anyone else run into the same thing? I suppose, before
I send the form off with the check, I would just like to
hear a second person confirm the same thing.

Thanks for any comments & have a good day!

-Troy
