I wonder where this marketing mailing list originated. Could
the IRS be selling culled addresses of potential e-filers?
In many states the Motor Vehicle Dept. sells list of drivers
to various Insurance marketers.

Default largest tax preparer leaks SSNs

I sometimes wonder how secure internet preparation
and filing is when the countrys largest tax preparation
firm accidently leaks up to 3% of its customers'
social security numbers:

Granted, this was paper leak and not an electronic leak,
but its still inexcusable.
