But in general they are not used, and I have not recommended them in the past, though I can't remember off the top of my head why. I am not an attorney so take what I say with a *pound* of salt but I have never heard of a statutaory close corporation being available in the Old North State. I'd like to form NC corporation and would like to be a "Close Corporation" for less paper work..etc.. Is it allowed in NC? Please advise..
