We had 11 attending as I recall. And the Cards beat the Padres that Saturday at Bush stadium. Happy New ChEAr$, Harlan and a toast to Hank. << ================================================== ===== > << The foregoing is intended for educational purposes only > << and does NOT constitute legal OR professional advice. > << > << The Charter and the Guidelines for submitting > << messages to this newsgroup are at www.asktax.org. > << Copyright (2005) - All rights reserved. > << ================================================== ===== > |

| Hard to believe it's been 10 years. I didn't get involved here until about 2000, when the old Prodigy died from the Y2K bug, but I remember Hank, and it seems to me he was also active in the Prodigy tax board where the Tax Gang was born. Other TGers probably have better memories than mine. I know we were there on Prodigy in 1993. I hope you're going to be able to carry this torch for years to come, Dick! Many thanks to Mr. Seivers for his founding work, but more to you, Dick, for continuing to help us all by moderating this group for so long. Happy New Year to you (and to us all). | Today marks the 10th anniversary of misc.taxes.moderated. Hank Seivers (who passed away in 2002) did all the admin work to the group approved by Usenet and it went through without a hitch. The only real problems came when I had to learn how to post and then how to post volume. Ten years and counting....
