I suspect that "related party" or "self rental" restrictions
would disallow any losses in this situation, thereby forcing
the situation back under the basic home office limitations
of 280A.

Default Partner renting portion of home to partnership and code section 280A

It is my understanding that section 280A deals with an
employee renting a home office to an employer, and that
there is currently no authority extending the rules of 280A
to a partnership renting a portion of a partner's home.

Does anyone else know of any new developments in this area?
