Suppose some of these "leasehold improvements" (e.g.
flooring, track lighting, wall mirrors, etc) will be removed
by the lessee at the termination of the lease. The lessee
will take these items to a new location or otherwise dispose
of them. Would the original expense still be categorized as
a "leasehold improvement" or could it then be categorized as
a 179 expense?

If a leasee improves a retail store (not a restaurant) in
2005, the 2004 tax act says it can be depreciated over 15
years if done prior to 2006. Is it possible to expense any
of these improvements under section 179?
