The standard deduction for '05 MFJ is $10,000. Itemized
deductions begin to phase out at $145,950 for MFJ filers.
Personal exemptions start to phase out at $218,950 for MFJ.

Of course, there seems to be close to three months for
Congress to change my mind about these numbers.

For 2005, the phase out begins at 145,950. Is that the data
you were looking for?

$145,950 for everyone except MFS. MFS is half that amount.

Default 2005 itemized deductions limitation

I'm looking for the itemized deductions limitation number
for 2005 for MFJ. It does not seem to be available yet on
the IRS web site.

Does anyone know what it is?

Thanks.
