David Woods is right about your federal income tax. For
California, however, if you move across the border no longer
live in California, you may become a nonresident of
California. In that case, you would owe taxes to California
only on income from California sources. As long as your
only employment is in Mexico, and you do not own property or
have other income sources in California, you would have no
state income tax liability.

Caveat: You should check to be sure that failure to file
tax returns as a California resident will not jeopardize
your U.S. immigration status. That's a federal question,
though; California has nothing to say about it.

How CAN you declare them? By filling out the forms like
everyone else.

How SHOULD you? See above.

You're a permanent resident. Your reporting of income to
the US is no different than anyone else.

Default Job in another country

I am a permanent US resident living in San Diego, CA. I
work in Tijuana, Mexico in a friend restaurant.

I have my weekly salary and some of the money I earn is
deposited into my US checking account to pay bills (car, car
insuranse, etc)

I might be moving to the other side of the border just for
commodity. How can I declare taxes in the US?? What is my
best option??

I have to do my taxes or else I'll get my green card
revoked.

Thank you!
