Now, if you already had a job that required you to drive and your employer wanted you to take advanced lessons as a condition of continued employment, they would be deductible as an employee business expense. Unfortunately, you would have to be able to itemize deductions to take this and it must exceed 2% of your AGI. Most likely, no benefit.
