She needs someone who can assemble the material into HTML as well as someone who lay out the organization of the FAQ. Katie Jacques at katiej_1958[at]yahoo.com has volunteered to author some State Tax FAQs and will review all State Tax FAQs. Is there anyone who knows anything about getting CPE credit approval? << -------------------------------------------------> << The Charter and the Guidelines for submitting > << messages to this newsgroup are at www.asktax.org > << -------------------------------------------------> |

| 1. Get up a functional website. 2. Put together an FAQ 3. Get approval for CPE credits. 4. Rewrite the moderation software Anyone with experience in 1, 2, and 3 is encouraged to volunteer. Entries in the FAQ will be attributed to whomever wrote it and will carry an e-mail address prompt for questions to be asked of the author. I would like to be able to provide CPE credits for writing FAQ sections and for refereed articles. So I need someone to take charge of the compliation of the FAQ and to set forth how the FAQ will be organized. Volunteers are needed for refereeing articles. I will tell Ed Zollars that since he hasn't been here for a while to protect himself that he was volunteered to be a referee. Anyone who wants changes to the moderation software speak so now. I plan to pick up the time stamp for when a submission was received. While I do not intend to create a white list, I can cause submissons for those individuals who conform to a "not yet thought out" set of standards to be segregated and be posted before I batch process other submissions. Also needed is someone to compile a list of tax software newsgroups and websites so that we can refer people with software questions to them. If I don't need another surgery this summer, I plan to move back to the Promised Land of North Carolina in August. Even with that move, I plan to continue to use Smart.Net as my ISP because they allow me to use a Unix SHELL account which are becoming rare. If anyone is using a Unix SHELL, I'd appreciate knowing who is there ISP just in case!! Also as of 30 June 2005, my CPA license is going into inactive status because I cannot drive a car and find it difficult to arrange to go to seminars. Dick -- Richard D.
