Look at MAX by ATX at http://www.atxinc.com. Ask for a demo
disk and put some of your easy and complicated returns
through it for a trial.

that's between me and THEIRS.

Darn tootin'; been efiling since 1989 and it's the best
thing since canned dog food.

Most all my 1040 returns are done on the spot. Clients are
particuarly impressed with I hit CTRL D for diagnostics,
and it says "No electronic filing errors detected."
IMpresses the hell out of the clients.

Sure is, for I can customize the screen in any colours I so
desire.

Great for electronic filing details. HOWSOMEEVER: it don't
protect against SE's... i.e. stupid errors. There are of
course many , and I do mean MANY, self checking routines in
Taxwise (by UTS in Rome, GA who writes software for IRS btw)
and more than once it's saved my bacon.

Check it out. Renewal price just cut by over a hundred this
next year. AND, I always get a guarantee when I renew in
June that IF I decide to retire before next tax season, I
get my money back.

Can't beat that with a stick, you know?

Did you efile?
Was effective for input as the client sat there?
