Darn tootin'; been efiling since 1989 and it's the bestthing since canned dog food. - quote - > Was effective for input as the client sat there?
Most all my 1040 returns are done on the spot. Clients areparticuarly impressed with I hit CTRL D for diagnostics, and it says "No electronic filing errors detected." IMpresses the hell out of the clients. - quote - > Is the output pretty?
Sure is, for I can customize the screen in any colours I sodesire. - quote - > How are the diagnostics?
Great for electronic filing details. HOWSOMEEVER: it don'tprotect against SE's... i.e. stupid errors. There are of course many , and I do mean MANY, self checking routines in Taxwise (by UTS in Rome, GA who writes software for IRS btw) and more than once it's saved my bacon. Check it out. Renewal price just cut by over a hundred this next year. AND, I always get a guarantee when I renew in June that IF I decide to retire before next tax season, I get my money back. Can't beat that with a stick, you know? | OK, fellow tax preparers... the season is almost over.... so what did you think of your tax software? I'm wanting a few good recommendations, and candid evaluations for an average sized sole practioner practice. How many returns did you do? Did you efile? Was effective for input as the client sat there? Is the output pretty? How are the diagnostics? << -------------------------------------------------> << The Charter and the Guidelines for submitting > << messages to this newsgroup are at www.asktax.org > << -------------------------------------------------> |
