of the options allows for this.

In Outlook Express for example, you go to "tools",
"options", "send", and the "plain text settings" in the
"news" section. My options are for a "> ", "|", or ":" in
the text replied to.

Moderator: Please use "> ".

Many of the replies in this last batch of messages had the
first line of each paragraph of the reply quoted with a > .
I assume this is temporary glitch in the posting software,
or am I the only one seeing this?
