I have no idea what you're talking about here. Is this> from the reimbursement providers. money you spent on snacks for the customers or is it money someone gave you to buy snacks for the customers? Your income and expenses for this activity go on Schedule C. If TT interview doesn't ask you about "other" expenses, get out of the miserable interview and go into forms mode and put them on Schedule C. -- Phil Marti Clarksburg, MD << -------------------------------------------------> << The Charter and the Guidelines for submitting > << messages to this newsgroup are at www.asktax.org > << -------------------------------------------------> |

| We have a home based licensed daycare in MN. I am using TurboTax for our tax returns. I am confused about where to enter the expenses for the food provided to the daycare recepients in TurboTax. In spite to declaring to TurboTax that it is a daycare business, it does not ask about this expense. We did not recieve any form 1099 from the reimbursement providers. Your help is highly appreciated. Thanks, Anil << -------------------------------------------------> << The Charter and the Guidelines for submitting > << messages to this newsgroup are at www.asktax.org > << -------------------------------------------------> |
