You're very charitable, but this one's a whack job. I
finally had to put him on my block list.

You did post his message - I just read it!

You have been more than helpful when I had problems posting
to this moderated group due to technical problems on my end,
none of which were your fault. Let him go elsewhere.

What is "this group" that he's referring to?

I think he meant misc.taxes.moderated without me. But I
did not take it personally since he was much kinder toward
me than I am toward the imbecile in charge of Major League

I hope the gutless wonder also know as Bud Light takes it
personally. My anagram for Bud Selig is I. B. Sludge.

Now that is off-topic, but I wanted to give an example of
professional contempt.

(a bunch snipped for brefity.

Well, what I think happened is that the OP who criticized,
posted his message one day, and expected immediate
gratification. IOW, he expected a reply with maybe ... 29
minutes. which just ain't possible.

So I would advise said OP to "chill out" (is that the right
phrase?), slow down and learn to live a litte.

Should I get excited when my replies to those seeking help
do not make it on my computer for maybe 72 hours?

No.

I've got more important things to do than worry about the
speed , or lack of it, of the internet.

It's already been posted. Probably his "tip" wasn't big
enough to be placed to the front of the line.

That, or he's an impatient man.

The fact is that, as Dick says, there is a misc.taxes
newsgroup that is not moderated. Go there if you prefer.
It's a lot calmer and more pleasant here, in my opinion.

The post went through. I saw it. I remember thinking,
"what's so hard about using a tape measure?"

Dick is extremely liberal in allowing things through. As
long as they're not spam or blatantly offensive, if
tangentially related even if not exactly on topic, he lets
just about any claptrap through. ;-)

I suppose he subscribes to the notion that there is no such
thing as a stupid question. After this I'm not so sure.

Dick, I asked him to tell us what that post consisted of so
that we could all see it for what it was. No response yet.

LOL, I have a friend who has his court date set here in
Mpls, MN in early June 05 - suing the IRS for 250 million.
Spent a couple years reading tax law at the local librbary
and thinks he's got a case.

We're all taking the day off to go watch the fun. I'm betting
on summary dismissal!

Correction: There was an election. However, I was the only
candidate.

I don't recall the submission. However, I haven't deleted
anything other than advertising in quite awhile. So your
submission either got posted or it didn't get to me.

I must apologize as it seems I have pissed this person off
by accident and that is something I really try not to do.
I much prefer doing it on purpose.

"Orwellian vagaries, take over for Castro, and exclusive
club" - at least I am being criticized by an educated
person. No one has ever talked that way to me except for
my first wife, her mother, and my current mother-in-law.

What I think happened here is "again" that the submission got
posted but did not show up on this gentleman's news server OR
it never got to me. I suspect it was the former.

But there is always misc.taxes where you can learn that you
are no subject to federal taxation for numerous reasons - all
of which will subject you to IRS interest and penalties and
judicial fines.

Have a great day!
