See http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/i1040.pdf at the bottom> regular mail? I'd like to have proof of delivery. of page 15 talks of UPS, Fedex and DHL. USPS Certified Mail is usually more economical. It is the mailing date that counts-- not the time of delivery. << -------------------------------------------------> << The Charter and the Guidelines for submitting > << messages to this newsgroup are at www.asktax.org > << -------------------------------------------------> |

| I will be filing my tax return forms for 2002-2004 (Federal, NY State and NYC). I have a technical question: should I mail the returns for each of the three years separately, or together? I failed to find any info on IRS web site. Also, is there any way to use anything other than USPS regular mail?
