I found the form I sent in last year but never had a
response, so I fax'd it in again. Still didn't get a
response, but since I was e-filing the Fed & other 3 states
involved I went ahead and did NJ, too. It was accepted, so
I guess NJ just doesn't bother to let one know if they have
been "accepted". ~ Barbara

Go ahead and file the return, you should get a conditional
acceptance from the state explaining the registration
process. It is a very simple one page form that you simply
fax back. Once the form is received you should get an
accepted message for the return. That is how it worked for
me anyway...

Default NJ E-File

I have one NJ client and he wants to e-file. The EA Journal
says NJ requires a Registration Form and gives the NJ web
site info and a fax # for submission of the form but I
cannot find any hint of a registration form or any other
information for practitioners in the practioners area of the
site. Can anyone help me? Thanks. ~ Barbara
