You can contribute $55,000 and elect to treat it as if you
had made it ratably over five years. If married, your spouse
could contribute another $55,000. Keep in mind, that you if
you do this, you have used up your annual exclusion for that
individual for the next 5 years.

Default Maximum amount we can buy for the prepaid tuition program each year

The below is from the prepaid tuition program website: Does
that mean the maximum units we can buy each year are $11,000
(single)? I heard that you can do something like 5-year
aggregations. Anyone knows what is the maximum fund we can
buy for the prepaid tuition program?

"The IRS also allows generous gift and estate tax exemptions
for contributions to GET. You may buy up to $11,000 worth
of GET units per year per student and owe no federal gift
tax, as long as you make no other gifts during the year to
the same person. If you are married, you may buy up to
$22,000 worth of GET units per year per student."
