Default Re: Where Is Your Refund?

When you e-file you generally know within 24 hours that your
return is there!

Default Where Is Your Refund?

IRS will be delighted to tell you.

Either go to irs.gov and follow the refund link on the main
page.

Or, phone IRS at 800 829 1954 and follow the brief refund
leads.

One must be prepared to enter the following:
Social Security number
Filing status -- MFJ, etc
Precise whole dollar amount of the expected refund. (no cents)

They will respond with the expected refund mailing date.
(Mine is March 18.)

It is also an easy way to determine that one's return has
been received by IRS.
